In order for students to apply and participate in the Holy Names University Upward Bound Project, they must meet our entry criteria.

1. Must be in the 9th Grade upon entry.

2. Must demonstrate academic need.

3. Must attend Oakland High School, Castlemont Community of Small Schools, or Fremont Federation of Schools.

4. Parents must have not earned a bachelor's degree or higher in college.

5. Must meet the annual income levels below:
